Hello, I'm Ally Tobias.
I am an Independent Education Consultant, with a special focus on helping students and their families navigate post-high school options and pathways.
My Story
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Pennsylvania, my Master of Education in Mathematics from Rutgers University, and College Counseling Certificate from UCLA Extension. I have 30 years of experience in the field of education: as a middle school teacher, curriculum developer, consultant for the College Board, and as a mom actively involved in her sons’ schools.

During the pandemic, I rediscovered my passion for working directly with teenagers when I taught math to a small group of homeschooled students. I continue to navigate the ever-changing world of school & beyond with my own sons, who are both currently high school. I dedicate much of my time to working with neurodivergent teens and their families, researching post-high school options and planning alternative pathways.
My twin sister Wendy Wiseberg inspired me to pursue this career path and mentored me during my year-long internship. Wendy is an Independent College Counselor with over a decade of experience. I am excited to have launched my own practice in 2023, and I continue to seek counsel from Wendy.
